Each of these events are completely independent from one another and will be focused on teaching you how to build something from scratch– so you’ll be able to walk out with a finished product. 🤩 🎉 Introducing…

Crafting Chrome ⚒️: In this event, you’ll learn how to develop your very own Chrome extension, start to finish! We’ll be building a productivity ⚙️ extension, but you can customize it to your own liking. 💃 If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to build a Chrome extension and are thinking about making your very own tool, game, or meme extension, this event is for you!

Building Bots 🤖: If the idea of building a Discord bot sounds neat, then this event is your treat 🍪. Here, you’ll learn to develop your very own Discord bot! We’ll be walking you through how to make a music 🎶 Discord bot, which you’ll be able to tailor as you like and deploy to your servers. Buckle up buckaroos cause it’s time for some bot-building big braining. 🧠

Join us for a Research Talk and Q&A Panel with Sara Hooker, a leading AI Researcher and VP of Research at Cohere, the leading enterprise AI company founded by former Google researchers. Sara was previously a Research Scientist at Google Deepmind, and now leads a team of AI scientists and engineers at Cohere. Sara’s recent research works include Aya, the state-of-the-art massively multilingual LLM, and Command R+, the state-of-the-art open source LLM! Sara also serves on the World Economic Forum Council on the Future of AI and founded Delta Analytics, a non-profit dedicated to equipping non-profits around the world with technical expertise.

Cyber Potluck

Are you ready to level up your coding skills and problem-solving ability? Pull up to the second spring training on Sunday (4/21) at E6 289 from 2-5pm! 👀 

Everyone is welcome as long as you are curious and ready to learn! For seasoned competitive programmers, we will have some challenging problems for you that will prepare you for the spring tryouts, and for beginners, we will pair you with experienced officers and they will guide you through the problems! Moreover, we'll supplement the training with free food and music! 🥳
