Looking for a challenge? Think you have great ideas on what makes *the* quintessential coding competition?

If so, come participate in the first-ever Google-made Code Jam on November 15th! In typical Google fashion, this is in 'Beta' version ... and we need your help!

We are inviting you to be a part of a small test group to try out the competition and to provide feedback.

When: Thursday, November 15th at 6:00p.m. PST. Registration opens November 5th.

Where: Go to http://www.google.com/codejambeta and register using an email associated with a Google account.

How: We will send you a link to the competition platform before the contest. The rules to the contest will be outlined at this site.

Who: Only the first 500 registrants from the invited test group can participate. Note: this is an individual contest, NOT a team competition.

Why: Do you really need a reason to compete? You can show off your coding skills, you might win a Google Code Jam t-shirt or a Google store gift certificate, and you will be part of the first Google Code Jam test group.

Since this will be the first external exposure for the Google Code Jam, any feedback you give us could have a substantial impact on the future of the contest.
