ACM is looking for bright, young students to join us as officers starting Winter Quarter, 2010! Be a part of our small but passionate team and make a HUGE difference in the Computer Science department. We welcome students of all years who are interested to apply! The following are the officer positions available for next quarter, with some information about each:

• Treasurer - the ACM Treasurer is responsible for the management of all the sources of funding that enable ACM to host and help with projects and activities.
• Secretary - the ACM Secretary will play an important role in making sure all tasks are completed on time.
• Web Admin - the Web Admin, as the title suggests, is to build ACM's presence on the web. Recommended skills include working knowledge of server-side scripting (PHP) and familiarity with UNIX servers.
• Publicity Chair - the Publicity Chair is responsible for coming up with creative ways to help spread the ACM name and promote club events
• Project Leader - The requirements of becoming a Project Leader are very extensive. The leader must organize an appropriately sized group of people who will contribute to a project. Next, the leader is responsible for making sure that the project is moving along as scheduled and that group members meet on a regular basis.
• Company Relations - as a Company Relations, you will be responsible for negotiating and meeting with industry recruiters on various issues. Must have good "people"-skills.

These roles might sound very specific, but really you won't be limited to doing only these tasks. ALL of our officers are part of the club decision-making process when it comes to organizing events, contacting industry recruiters, brainstorming project ideas, etc.
