Check out the ACM ICPC if you want to take a shot at team-based competitive programming. The sorts of algorithmic challenges you will encounter and solve serve as great preparation for software engineering internship and job interviews!

There's a regional competition between Southern California schools on November 10th in Riverside. The top 4 teams from the tryouts will get to compete in the regionals. UCLA ACM covers all registration and travel expenses!
