Event Details:
ACM's final General Body Meeting of the year is here. We've got lots of stuff on the table this quarter.
We will have a special guest speaker, Prof. Terzopoulos from UCLA CS Department, to kick off our event at 6:00pm.
Also on the agenda are improvements to many of our projects including the GameConsole arcade system, more information about the ICPC Competitions, and ongoing and potential new projects and much more.
And of course, no ACM event is complete without food and prizes, so make sure you stop by. :)
Pamela Fox, a Google API Support Engineer, will be presenting uses for the Google Web Toolkit, Google Spreadsheets Data API, and Google Maps API. Come join us to find out what these tools are capable of and talk to a Google Engineer!
We will be hosting it in Boelter Hall 4760 on Friday April 4th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. We will be having Diddy Reese Cookies and drinks!
The Spring 2008 UCLA ACM Quarterly Programming Contest is now live!
This quarter's two winners will receive one of two Google USB flash drives. There are many ways to solve this one, but efficiency counts... Last quarter, a few contestants didn't interleave their output with each successive input case (we neglected to mention this, so we fixed your output code before judging); the Grading section of the Contest Rules has been updated to include this rule.
The deadline for submissions is 1 June 2008 at 11:59:59 PM.
