Assist in developing and deploying the Design Automation’s SupportNet web site. Some main features of the web site include web search engine, file upload/download, user account management etc...
Assist senior software engineers in developing processes/tools to support Xerox electronics design of high performance electronics subsystems which include printed circuit board, ASICs and FPGAs.

Industry Researcher Needs ACM Student Gamers

Chatter Inc. is coming to UCLA during the week of April 14th to conduct paid research for the video game industry. ACM members will be paid $100 for a 2 hour discussion about the games they like to play. Winter 2008 Contest Winner!

UCLA ACM would like to congratulate Matthew Pham, who will receive a Google wireless mouse for solving the contest problem with an optimized prime-finding algorithm. We had several solutions with varying creativity and efficiency, but when we counted the total clock cycles for all 9900 possible inputs, Matthew's algorithm blew away the competition by a margin of at least 18.75%.
