Professor Mani Srivastava from the Electrical Engineering Department and NESL (Networked & Embedded Systems Laboratory) here at UCLA is going to be teaching the first Robotics course offered Winter 2008.
The course is titled EE 118D and is targeted to EE and CS&E students who want to learn more about Robotics and apply their knowledge of EE and CS courses to real robotics projects! The course will count towards an EE design course or a CS elective with approval from their Vice Chair.

As part of Google's ongoing commitment to furthering Anita's vision, we are pleased to announce the 2008 Google Anita Borg Scholarship. A group of female undergraduate and graduate students will each receive a $10,000 scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year. All finalists and recipients will also be invited to an all-expenses paid trip to the Google Headquarters in California April 3-5, 2008.

After five hours of difficult programming, the UCLA Bruins, UCLA Gold, UCLA Blue and UCLA Westwood teams ranked 13th, 14th, 28th and 45th respectively.
