Xerox Corp - Summer intern position in Design Automation and Applications group (June 08 – Sep 08)

Job Description:
Assist in developing and deploying the Design Automation’s SupportNet web site. Some main features of the web site include web search engine, file upload/download, user account management etc...
Assist senior software engineers in developing processes/tools to support Xerox electronics design of high performance electronics subsystems which include printed circuit board, ASICs and FPGAs.

We are looking for students who are majoring in CS or CSE with B.S. or advanced degrees.

We are tech startup founded by USC/Harvard graduate students and financed by both American and European angel investors with an emphasis on disruptive technologies. We are new-media spin off from a film production company. We have raised the capital and formed the creative/business team; we are looking for creative team players that can develop an original web application. We are open to any experience or expertise that can get the job done. We seek to hire 2-3 developers to design and implement the program.

Abstract:

UCLA CS Alumni Advisory Board will hold its annual Career Panel with Industry. This year’s panel will be composed of six UCLA alumni representing a cross-section of industry. Initially, each panelist will describe their background, types of opportunities in their company, and share a few key strategies that they have found effective in furthering their careers. The panel will then address questions that students have regarding their upcoming transition into industry.
