Competition

Note: This contest is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who will be grouped accordingly.

Join us for the 2 day Project Possibilty code-a-thon taking place during the weekend of January 31 - February 1. This programming contest helps develop open source software for individuals with disabilities. Over the two day period, students are teamed with industry mentors (from companies such as Google, Amgen, etc.) to plan and develop open source software from scratch. This event is an excellent way to assist a great cause while developing long term relationships with industry contacts.

Of course, as with any ACM event, expect exceptional food and prizes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for both days of the event. Contest winners will walk away with a cool $1000 cash. Other winners will also receive industry sponsored prizes. We look forward to seeing you there for food, fun, and excitement for this great cause!

Space is limited, so sign up as soon as possible via the URL below. For registration and more information, please visit http://ss12.info/ucla/.
